While Pattaya is known as an international beach resort, its counterparts on the opposite side of the Gulf of Thailand. Cha-Am and Hua-Hin, are known for their quiet, sedate and a almost stately atmospheres.
The town's attractions include a lively market, fishing port and endless souvenir shops. Seafood restaurants here are amongst the best in this part of Thailand. There is also a first class golf course, the Royal Hua-Hin a short drive from town.
A 75 km drive northwest of Hua Hin, take us back to nature at Thailand’s
largest nationalpark “Kaeng Krachan”. We visit Information-House and Kaeng
Krachan Reservoir which blocks the Petchaburi River, creating a huge lake
covering 45 Sq kms. The boat-trip take us around the lake to observe the
beautiful scenery of wooded islands. Lunch at the Thai restaurant overlooks
the reservoir.
